Adding or updating your experience, education, and achievements

To add or update information about your professional experience, go to your profile's Info tab. You can now edit your experience, education, and achievements by clicking on each heading and filling in the relevant information.

Can I export my profile information as a CV?

Yes! Our CV exporter is located on your profile's Overview tab. Simply scroll down to the bottom right-hand side of the page, and click the Export your profile as a CV button. This will enable you to download a Microsoft Word version of your profile in the form of a CV.

Note: To ensure your CV is comprehensive, fill out your ResearchGate profile in as much detail as possible. Your Featured Publications will appear at the top of your CV’s Publication list.

Importing your CV to your profile

Currently, it’s not possible to upload your CV to ResearchGate, but other options are available. For example, you can add most of the information contained in your CV to your profile from your Info tab, including skills, experience, education, awards, and achievements.

You also have the opportunity to upload the publications listed on your CV using our Reference Manager tool, as long as they are put into BibTeX, XML, EndNote, or RIS files.
