titleWhy has my RG Score decreased?

Please note that the RG Score is a relative score. This means that it takes the scores and interactions of every researcher into account when producing a relative rating of your contributions. For example, if your contributions are less than the average of all users that week, your RG Score could decrease or remain constant. Please also make sure that your publications are linked to their journals correctly. Please also make sure that any articles published in journals are correctly linked to the journal they were published in.

To update the journal information on your publication:

  1. Go to the publication’s ResearchGate page by clicking on the title of the publication
  2. Click on the arrow to the right of the title and select Edit from the drop-down list
  3. Slowly start typing the name of the journal into the Journal field, or enter the ISSN
  4. Select the correct journal from the suggestions that appear in the drop-down menu
  5. Click Save.

If your journal isn't visible in the drop-down menu, we may not have it in our database yet.
